Round Toys

Free crochet tutorial for Round Toys by Iryna Zubova @_funny_toy_.

With this pattern, you can crochet Kitty, Pochacco, and Pompompurin. Any acrylic, cotton, blended, or plush yarn will work for these amigurumi toys. The size of the finished toy will depend on the thickness of your yarn and the size of your crochet hook. For Kitty, you will also need a plastic safety nose. All toys use safety eyes. All pieces are worked in a continuous spiral unless otherwise stated.

The finished plush toys are about 9 cm tall.

Crochet Pattern for Amigurumi Round Kitty, Pochacco, and Pompompurin Toys

Kitty

Rnd 1. with white yarn, 8 sts in MR
Rnd 2. 8 inc (16)
Rnd 3. (1 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (24)
Rnd 4. (2 sc, 1 inc) x 8 (32)

Insert the eyes. Place the eye holes between Rnds 8 and 9. Leave 6 stitches between the eyes. Insert the nose between Rnds 9 and 10.

Cut the yarn and secure it with a knot. Pull the opening closed and weave the yarn tail inside.

Ears

Ch 2. In the first chain, work 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc.

Leave a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew on the ears.

Tail (White Yarn)

Do not stuff.

Rnd 1. 6 sts in MR
Rnds 2-10. (9 rnds) 6 sc (6)

Leave a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew on the tail. Embroider the whiskers.

Bow (Red Yarn)

Make a yarn ring and ch 3. Work 3 dc into the ring. Ch 3 and sl st into the ring. Ch 3. Work 3 dc into the ring again. Ch 3 again and sl st into the ring. Pull the ring tight.

Leave a length of yarn for attaching the bow. Wrap the yarn tail around the center of the bow 3-4 times and secure it with a knot on the wrong side. Sew on the bow.

Pochacco

Add a small amount of stuffing. Leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Loop on the Hat

Ch 14. Fasten it to the hat. Sew on the hat. Embroider the nose.

Fold in half and crochet 6 sc through both sides of the piece. Ch 50, sl st to the bag.
