Malcolm the Fox

Free crochet pattern for Malcolm the Fox.

With this pattern, you can crochet a fox. Any acrylic, cotton blend, or cotton yarn and a suitable crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project.

Materials and Tools

• Yarn in 3 colors: orange, white, black
• 1.75 mm crochet hook
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Stitch markers
• Needle for sewing pieces together
• Scissors

Abbreviations

• MR - magic ring
• ch - chain stitch
• sc - single crochet
• dc - double crochet
• Earfan - 3 dc in 1 stitch, picot (3 ch), 3 dc in the same stitch
• Earcluster - yarn over twice, insert the hook into the back part of the next stitch. Pull up 1 loop through the back loop (4 loops on the hook). Pull the yarn through the next 2 loops (3 loops on the hook). Pull the yarn through 2 more loops (2 loops on the hook). Repeat in the next 2 dc what you did with 4 loops. Skip the picot (you can fold this part down so it does not get in your way), and work into the other 3 stitches the same way as before (you should have 7 loops left on the hook). Pull the yarn through all 7 loops. Make sure the picot stays on the right side.
