Little Fox

Free crochet tutorial for a Little Fox by Ksenia Igoshina.

With this pattern, you can crochet a little fox. Any cotton blend yarn will work for this amigurumi project: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.

The finished toy is about 22-22 cm tall.

Leave a tail for sewing. Do not stuff. Sew the ears above round 23, 6 sc apart.

Arms (Make 2)

For the arms, you will need a 22 cm piece of wire. The wire should be 1.5 mm thick. Use soft wire so it bends more easily and is easier to shape. While stuffing, place the wire in the body, stepping 3 rounds down from the head. Then insert it into the arm and stuff carefully, but not all the way to the end. Leave about the top 5 rounds empty. Then sew the arm to the body. Repeat the same steps for the second arm.

Stuff only the white part! Then fold the piece and crochet 6 sc through both layers. Sew to round 10 of the body.

Legs (Make 2)

Start with brown yarn:

1. Chain 7 ch. In the second chain from the hook, work inc, then 4 sc, work 4 sc into the last stitch of the row, work 4 sc along the other side of the chain, inc.

Change color to red. The color change should be in the middle of the heel. If you have offset stitches, crochet them.

Change color to orange. When changing color, do not cut the red yarn; bring it forward and continue crocheting.

After crocheting the leg to round 20, return to the boot. Make 1 ch and crochet a round of 18 sc, sl st, 1 ch, and a second round of 18 sc, sl st. Hide the yarn tail inside the piece.

Stuff firmly enough. Pay special attention to the top of the leg; stuff this area less firmly so the button joint will be easier to attach. Attach the legs to round 6 of the body.

Assembly

Sew on all the parts. Decorate the little fox as desired.
