Pajama Holder Base
Take the pom-pom yarn. Make two loops in the gaps between the pom-poms. Now pull one loop through the other - this will be the first loop on the hook. Put it on the hook and crochet the next gap between pom-poms as a regular chain stitch. The pom-pom should stay hanging at the back. Crochet a chain of 20 ch this way.

Now join the chain into a ring. Continue crocheting in the round.
If you look closely, the loops are clearly visible. Make sure the chain is not twisted - otherwise it will not work.
Now crochet into the loops you made - ALWAYS THROUGH THE BACK LOOP ONLY! Ignore the pom-poms - they are not part of the stitches and should stay on the back side.

In the end, you should get a bag like this (you will need to turn it inside out) - this is the pajama holder base.

Toy Pajama Holder Assembly

Sew the head on top, around the circumference of the main piece. Pull the hat elastic cord through the loops at the bottom and secure it with the cord lock so the pajama holder can close. That's it - your pajama holder is ready!
