Amigurumi fawn crochet

Free Fawn crochet tutorial by Olga Shevchenko @olga777_handmade.

With this pattern, you can crochet a deer with a scarf. Any cotton blend yarn and a suitable hook will work well for this amigurumi project. The scarf is crocheted with two strands held together: YarnArt Jeans (red) + YarnArt Camellia (gold).

Materials and Tools

  • Alize Cotton Gold Tweed yarn: color 55 or 67
  • YarnArt Jeans yarn: 66 burgundy (for the nose), 90 red (for the antlers and scarf)
  • YarnArt Camellia yarn: 2440 gold
  • Black thread for embroidering the muzzle
  • 2 mm crochet hook
  • 6 mm safety eyes

Scarf

Chain 90, start crocheting from the 2nd chain from the hook. Work hdc along the chain, 3 hdc in the last stitch. Continue crocheting along the other side of the chain with hdc, then work 2 hdc in the last stitch, sl st.

Assembly and Finishing

  • Shape and finish the head.
  • Sew the nose under the eyes, adding a little stuffing.
  • Embroider the eyebrows and mouth.
  • Sew the antlers at the level of rounds 5-8.
  • Sew the ears 1 round away from the antlers.
  • Tie the scarf.
