Arkady the Moose

Free crochet tutorial for Arkady the Moose by Viktoria Anikina.
With this pattern, you can crochet Arkady the moose. This crocheted moose is from the Palata No. 6 community. Any yarn and a suitable hook will work for this amigurumi project. The author used Iris thread and a 0.9 mm hook (one skein of each color).

Ears (make 4 pieces)
Then crochet the pieces together in pairs. First, crochet one piece with light-colored thread:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12
Round 3: (2 inc, 1 sc) x 4 = 20
Next, crochet the second piece with light brown thread using the same pattern. Without cutting the thread, crochet or sew the light and dark pieces together around the edge as one piece to form one ear. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Then crochet the second ear the same way.
Nostrils (make 2)
Crochet with dark brown thread:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: (inc, 2 sc) x 2 = 8
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. The nostrils should be raised, with the wrong side facing out!
Body
Crochet with light brown thread:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12
Round 3: (4 sc, 2 inc) x 2 = 16
Round 4: (5 sc, inc, sc, inc) x 2 = 20
Round 5: (6 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc) x 2 = 24
Round 6: (7 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc) x 2 = 28
Round 7: (8 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc) x 2 = 32

Rounds 9-20 (11 rounds): 36 sc

Fasten off, cut the thread, and hide the end inside the body.
Belly
Crochet with white or beige thread:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12

Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 = 30
Round 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 = 36
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing around the edge.
Front Legs (make 2)
Start with dark brown yarn:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12
Rounds 3-5 (3 rounds): 12 sc
Change to light brown.
Rounds 6-19 (14 rounds): 12 sc
Stuff the hoof firmly and the leg lightly. Fold the leg in half and crochet 5 sc through both layers. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Back Legs (make 2)
Start with dark brown yarn:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 = 18
Rounds 4-6 (3 rounds): 18 sc
Change to light brown thread.
Rounds 7-16 (10 rounds): 18 sc.
Stuff the hoof firmly and the leg lightly. Fold the leg in half and crochet 8 sc through both layers. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Tail
Crochet with light brown thread:
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc = 12
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Scarf
Crochet with green thread:
Round 1: crochet 6 ch
Round 2: 5 sc, ch
Round 3: 5 sc, ch
Continue crocheting until the scarf is the length you need, then crochet the final row:
4 sc, sl st
Cut and hide the thread. You can tie small pieces of thread to the ends of the scarf as fringe (using dark brown or green yarn).
Toy Assembly
Remember that the end of the head is its top!

- Sew the nostrils to the head at rounds 11-13, counting from the bottom
- Sew the ears to the head at rounds 18-19, counting from the bottom
- Sew the antlers to the head at rounds 20-21, counting from the bottom
- Embroider the eyes and eyebrows on the head
- Sew the belly to the body around the edge, positioning it with two corners pointing up
- Sew the front legs to the body at rounds 4-5, counting from the top
- Sew the back legs perpendicular to the body. For the right leg, start from the center of the closing ring (the last round of the body) and sew down to the right. For the left leg, start from the center of the closing ring (the last round of the body) and sew down to the left.
- Sew the tail to the body at rounds 18-19, counting from the top
- Sew the head to the body so that the 6 initial sc of the head sit slightly in front of the body, remain visible, and are not sewn to it
