Plush Tiger Cub

Free crochet tutorial for the Plush Tiger Cub by Irina Tarakanova @tarakanova_owl.
Using this pattern, you can crochet a plush tiger. For this amigurumi project, any plush yarn in orange, white, and black, plus a suitable hook, will work.
Finished toy size is about 35 cm.
Materials and tools
- Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn in 3 colors
- 4 mm crochet hook
- 14 mm safety eyes
- 15x12 mm safety nose
- Toy stuffing
- Needle for sewing parts
- Glue

Start with white yarn.

Switch to the main color.

10-19. 18 sc (10 rounds). Work contrast-color stripes all along the leg every 3rd round. Insert a joint between rounds 16 and 17.

Stuff the leg firmly. Sculpt the toes.

Fold the arm in half and crochet 6 sc through both layers, then cut and secure the yarn. Stuff only the lower part. Sculpt the fingers.
Tail
With white yarn.

Fold it, crochet 4 sc through both layers, cut and secure the yarn, and work contrast-color stripes every 3rd round. Stuff only the tip of the tail.

Pull the opening closed, cut yarn, hide the tail, and stuff the head firmly, especially in the neck area.
Ears (2 parts)
Crochet 2 pieces in white and 2 pieces in the main color, then edge them with contrast color.

2. inc, sc, inc, ch, turn (5)

4-5. 7 sc, place one white and one main-color piece together and crochet around them with contrast-color sc for 2 rounds
Muzzle
Crochet with white yarn.
1. 7 ch, in the second chain from the hook: 5 sc, 4 sc in one stitch, on the other side 5 sc, 4 sc in one stitch (18)

4-7. 34 sc
Sew the muzzle on, leaving 3 rows from the bottom of the head and going 7 rows upward; stuff it as you sew.
Chest
With white yarn.
1. 7 ch, in the second chain from the hook: 5 sc, 4 sc in one stitch, on the other side 5 sc, 4 sc in one stitch (18)

Lip

3. 5 sc. Secure the yarn and leave a tail for sewing.

Toy assembly
- Glue the eyes above the muzzle, with 5-6 stitches between the eyes
- Embroider the white of the eyes with white thread
- Make eye sculpting
- Make a sculpting line in the center of the muzzle
- Sew the lip below
- Glue the nose above the sculpting line, near the edges of the muzzle
- Embroider whiskers and eyebrows
- Sew on the ears, tail, and chest
