Plush Tiger Cub

Free crochet tutorial for a Plush Tiger Cub by Irina Filimonova @filirinka.toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a plush tiger cub. Any plush yarn will work for this amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others. If you like, you can embroider the nose or use a plastic safety nose.
The finished toy is about 16 cm (6.3 in) tall.
Materials and Tools
- Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby: 80316-orange, 80301-white
- YarnArt Jeans yarn 53-black
- 4 mm crochet hook
- 14 mm safety eyes
- 14x11 mm safety nose
- Toy stuffing
- Needle for sewing pieces together
- Scissors

Arms (make 2)
Start crocheting with white yarn:
Rnd 1. 2 ch, 6 sc in the first ch
Rnd 2. (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
Rnd 3. 9 sc
Change the yarn color to orange
Rnd 4. 2 sc, 2 dec, 3 sc (7)
Rnd 5. 2 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc (6)
Rnd 6-8. 6 sc (3 rounds)
Fold in half and crochet 3 sc through both layers. Fasten off, cut the yarn, and hide the end inside the arm. Embroider stripes with black yarn.

Crochet the arms into the body. Use your own stitches as a guide so the arms sit evenly on the sides above the legs.

Fasten off, cut the yarn, and leave a long tail for sewing. Embroider stripes with black yarn.
Assembly and Finishing

- Sew the muzzle under the eyes between rounds 7-12.
- Sew the ears between rounds 3-6.
- Sew the head to the body, then use the same yarn to make eye shaping under the eyes.
- Embroider the whites of the eyes with white yarn; embroider the eyebrows, eyelashes, and head stripes with black yarn.
