Tiger Cub

Free Tiger Cub crochet tutorial by Daria Baysh @dariya_baysh.
With this pattern, you can crochet a cute plush tiger with a little scarf. Any plush yarn will work well for this amigurumi: YarnArt Dolce or Himalaya Dolphin Baby. You can embroider the nose or use a ready-made plastic safety nose.
Yarn usage - half a skein of the main color.
Materials and Tools
- Plush yarn YarnArt Dolce 778 brick or Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80315 turquoise
- Alize Softy yarn: black (for embroidering the stripes)
- Alize Cotton Gold yarn: black (for embroidering the nose and eyebrows)
- Any cotton blend yarn for crocheting the scarf
- Crochet hooks: 3.75 mm and 2.5 mm
- 12 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Needle for attaching parts
- Scissors

Tiger Cub Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Arms (make 2)
Rnd 1: 2 ch, 7 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook (7)
Rnds 2-8 (7 rnds): 7 sc (7)
Stuff halfway. Fold the piece in half and crochet 3 sc through both layers.
Tail
Start crocheting with the main color:
Rnd 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook (6)
Rnds 2-4 (3 rnds): 6 sc (6)
Change to black yarn
Rnd 5: 6 sc (6)
Change to the main color
Rnds 6-8 (3 rnds): 6 sc (6)
Change to black yarn
Rnd 9: 6 sc (6)

Legs (make 2)
Stuff as you crochet.
Rnd 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook (6)
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnds 3-6 (4 rnds): 12 sc
Cut the yarn and crochet the second piece the same way. Do not cut the yarn on the second piece; start joining the legs.
Body and Head
Rnd 7: 12 sc along the leg, 2 sc in the space between the legs, 12 sc along the second leg, 2 sc in the space between the legs (28)

Rnd 10: crochet in the tail: 27 sc, 3 sc through the body and tail stitches together (30)

If the arms are not positioned correctly, shift them 1-2 stitches to the right or left.

Move 2 rounds down and place the eyes 4 sc apart.

Rnd 30: 6 dec, cut the yarn, leaving a small tail. Use a hook or needle to close the opening through the front loops.
Ears (make 2)
Start crocheting with black yarn.
Rnd 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook (6)
Change to the main color
Rnd 2: 2 tch, 1 hdc in the 3rd chain from the hook, 5 hdc inc (12)
Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Muzzle
Rnd 1: 4 ch, inc in the 2nd chain from the hook, 1 sc, 4 sc in the last chain, 1 sc, inc (10)
Rnd 2: 2 inc, 1 sc, 4 inc, 1 sc, 2 inc (18)
Rnd 3: (7 sc, dec) x 2 (16)
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Stuff the piece.
Sculpting
You will need a blunt needle and a long, strong matching thread.

Mark the sculpting points on the muzzle. The upper points are located under the eyes. The lower points are between rounds 18 and 19. Insert the needle into lower point 1 and bring it out at point 2. Move over 2 stitches, insert the needle into point 2 and bring it out at lower point 1. Repeat this several times, tightening the thread each time.
From point 1, move to point 3. Sculpt the other eye the same way: insert the needle into point 3, bring it out at point 4, move over 2 stitches, insert the needle into point 4, and bring it out at point 3. Repeat several times.
Sew on the muzzle. Sew on the ears. Embroider the nose, eyebrows, and eyelids. Embroider the stripes on the head.

Scarf
Crochet with a 2.5 mm hook. 80 ch:
Rows 1-3 (3 rows): 1 tch, 79 sc (80)
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Add fringe to the edges if desired.
