Stuff the legs with fiberfill as you crochet to avoid bumps and uneven areas from the stuffing.

- 8 sc along the ch

Arms (2 Pieces)
Rnd 1: 5 sc in MR
Rnd 2: 5 inc (10)
Rnds 3-27: 25 rounds (10)
Stuff the arm as you crochet, lightly, only up to round 12. Fold in half and crochet 4 sc through both layers.
Tail
Rnd 1: ch 39, turn
Rnd 2: starting from the 2nd chain from the hook: 38 hdc, sl st, cut the yarn.
Ears (2 Pieces)
Leave long yarn tails at the beginning and end of each ear: the beginning tail will be hidden later; the ending tail is for sewing the ear to the head.
Rnd 1: 8 sc
Rnd 2: 8 inc (16), place a marker
Rnd 3: (1 hdc, 1 inc) x to the end of the round
Rnd 4: (2 hdc, 1 inc) x to the end of the round
Fold the ear in half and crochet 3 sc (one in each stitch) through both layers.

Finishing and Assembly
- Embroider the nose with black thread. To do this, mark two points in round 3 with pins, 4 sc apart
- Embroider the center of the nose, bringing the needle into the center of the beginning MR
- Embroider the eyebrows 5 rounds above the eyes; each eyebrow is 2 sc long
- With white thread, embroider the whites around the eyes, gently pulling the eyes toward each other. This visually elongates the mouse's face.
- Sew the head to the body
- Sew the arms between rounds 53 and 54 of the body
- Tail. If you are making a girl mouse that will later wear a dress, sew the tail in the center, where it should be
- If you are making a boy mouse that will later wear shorts or pants, sew the tail to the pants themselves. I do not make tail openings in clothing.
