Free crochet Mouse tutorial by Natalia Bober @bobrik_toys.

With this pattern, you can crochet a mouse. If you want to make a rattle mouse, you will need a Kinder Surprise capsule and beads. Any cotton blend yarn will work for this amigurumi project: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.

Materials and Tools

• YarnArt Jeans yarn in gray (half a skein)
• 2 mm crochet hook
• 10 mm safety eyes
• Thread for embroidering eyebrows and eyelashes
• Toy stuffing
• Kinder Surprise capsule
• Beads
• Needle for sewing pieces together
• Scissors

Crochet Amigurumi Mouse Pattern

Head and Body

Crochet with gray yarn and a 2 mm hook:

Insert the safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14, with 4-5 stitches between them.

Move on to the body. Prepare the Kinder Surprise capsule in advance and place 15-20 beads inside it.

Insert the capsule; it should fit the size of the body just right.

Shape the eyes if desired. Embroider the whites of the eyes and eyelashes on top, or just a black line as shown in the photo. Embroider the eyebrows.

Muzzle

Crochet with white yarn.

Embroider the nose on the muzzle with pink yarn.

You can insert beads into the arms and legs if desired.

Switch to pink yarn

Do not cut the yarn next. Chain 18, turn your work and crochet 17 sc, make a sl st, and hide the yarn tail.

Sew on the ears, bending them slightly as shown in the photo. You can make a tail if desired: simply crochet a chain.
