Sheep

Free Sheep crochet tutorial by @natali_lit_toys.

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush sheep. For this amigurumi, you will need plush and cotton blend yarn. The head, ears, and legs are made with Himalaya Velvet, while the body and the wool on the head are made with YarnArt Jeans. The head is shaped with needle sculpting.

The finished sheep is about 21 cm (8.3 in) tall.

Materials and Tools

• Himalaya Velvet plush yarn
• YarnArt Jeans yarn, colors 87 and 81
• 1.25 mm and 2 mm crochet hooks
• 8 mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill
• Stitch markers
• Pins

Legs

With the dark color:

Switch to the light color.

Switch to velvet yarn.

Crochet two legs. Fasten off the first leg, but do not fasten off the second leg; continue crocheting from it.

Join the legs and crochet the body. Work 2 sc across the right leg, then continue onto the left leg:

Pull the opening closed, secure the yarn, and cut it.

Arms

Lightly stuff the arm if desired. Flatten the opening and crochet 3 sc through both layers.

Eye Sculpting

Bring the needle from point 1 to point 2, from point 2 to point 3, and from point 3 back to point 1. Pull the thread tight at point 1 and tie two knots.
