Crochet Amigurumi Gingerbread Cookies Pattern

All parts of the toy are worked in a spiral through both loops. To make your work easier, use a stitch marker or a contrasting thread to mark the beginning of the round. If the marker line shifts to the right while you crochet, work one extra stitch at the end of the round.

The marker runs along the center of the palm. Make sure the increases and decreases are aligned. Crochet with brown yarn.

Crochet amigurumi gingerbread cookies

At this stage, sew on the eyes and embroider the nose and eyebrows. You can create your own look, so do not be afraid to experiment. I sewed the eyes to Round 9 of the head, 5-6 stitches apart.

Now all that is left is to decorate the top of the gingerbread cookie. Let your imagination run free: use seed beads or add embroidery.

Turn the toy upside down. Join white yarn to Round 41 of the head and work the edging in FLO: (sl st on the body, 3 ch, 2 sl st along the ch chain (starting from the second chain from the hook), 2 sl st on the body, 2 ch, 1 sl st into the second chain from the hook, 2 sl st on the body, 5 ch, 4 sl st along the ch chain (starting from the second chain from the hook))* repeat to the end of the round. The sequence of long and short chains can be different, at your discretion.

If desired, you can sew the chain tails to the head. Sew colorful buttons onto the belly. Your gingerbread cookie is ready!
