Cream Cake

Free Cream Cake crochet tutorial by Oksana Trankova @toys_plyushka.
With this pattern, you can crochet a cream cake with berries. Any cotton blend yarn works well for this amigurumi project: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.
Materials and Tools
- Yarn: light brown, pink (for the cream), red, blue, and green (for the berries and leaves)
- 2 mm crochet hook
- Toy stuffing
- Cardboard
- Stitch markers
- Needle for attaching parts

Amigurumi Cream Cake Crochet Pattern
Basket
First, crochet the little basket.
Round 1: 8 sc in MR
Round 2: 8 inc (16)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 8 (24)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 (32)
Round 5: 33 dc BLO
Rounds 6-7: Crochet ribbing, alternating back post and front post stitches to the end of the round
Cream
From Rounds 8 to 13, crochet in the back loops only (BLO)
Round 8: Switch to the yarn color you want for the cream on your cake. Crochet 32 sc BLO
Round 9: 32 sc BLO
Cut a cardboard circle to fit the bottom of the basket and place it inside the bottom of your cake.
Round 10: BLO (6 sc, dec) x 4 (28)
Round 11: BLO (5 sc, dec) x 4 (24)
Round 12: BLO (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Round 13: BLO (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Round 14: 6 dec (6)
Round 15: 6 sc
Round 16: 3 dec
Fasten off, cut the yarn, and hide the end.
You should now have 5 rounds of front loops (FLO) on the cream.
Find where they begin.
Work around 3 rounds like this: crochet 4 sc into each FLO.
For the next round, crochet 3 sc into each FLO.
For the last round, crochet 2 sc into each FLO. In the last two FLO, make simple sl sts. Fasten off, cut the yarn, and hide the end.

Berries
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
Rounds 3-5: 9 sc, sl st
Fasten off, cut the yarn, and hide the end.
Leaf
Chain 10 ch, leaving a yarn tail about 3 cm long.
Starting from the second chain from the hook, crochet:
2 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc. You have made 1 leaf.
Now chain 10 ch again and repeat the same combination.

Cut the yarn, leaving a tail about 3 cm long. Tie these ends together with several knots to form a little twig. Then trim the extra ends. Sew the berries and leaf to the top of the cream. Your Cream Cake is ready!
