Assembly and Finishing

Insert the head into the hood and sew around the edges with matching thread. Next, sew the muzzle close to the eyes. Embroider the nose with pink thread (or any other color). From the nose, pull a thread down through the muzzle and tighten it slightly so the muzzle looks a little like an infinity symbol. Secure the thread and hide it.

Then, with white thread, make stitches at the sides of the eyes to make them more expressive.

Embroider the eyebrows and whiskers.

Sew the finished head in the hood to the body.

For the legs and arms, use thread jointing. Take matching thread and secure it at the top on the inner side of the paw. Then insert the needle into the body where the leg will be. Bring the needle out at the place with the light marker (shown in the photo), insert the needle into the second marker, and bring it out through the body. Repeat twice. Then pull the same thread through the whole body and attach the second paw, repeating the same steps. Repeat the same process for the upper paws.

Tie a bow around the cat's neck and, if desired, sew buttons or beads onto the belly.
