Alice the Wasp

Free crochet tutorial for Alice the Wasp by @ksysha.plysha.
With this pattern, you can crochet a wasp in a little skirt. Any cotton blend yarn works well for this amigurumi: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.
Materials and Tools
- Alize Cotton Gold 60 yarn (black)
- Alize Cotton Gold 110 yarn (yellow)
- YarnArt Jeans 20 yarn (pink)
- YarnArt Jeans 03 yarn (cream)
- 2 mm crochet hook
- Toy stuffing
- Needle for sewing pieces together
- Scissors

Legs (4 Pieces)
The legs can be crocheted into the body or sewn on, if desired. Place them in rounds 12 and 23, with 13-14 stitches between them. Crochet with black yarn:
6 ch, in the second chain from the hook work 5 sc into one stitch, 4 sc.
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing.
Antennae (2 Pieces)
Crochet with black yarn:
8 ch, in the second chain from the hook work 5 sc into one stitch, 6 sc.
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. The antennae will be slightly longer than the legs.
Wasp Body
Crochet with black yarn:

Close the opening with a needle, fasten off, and cut the yarn.
Skirt
Crochet with pink yarn:
Turn the wasp so the stinger points up. Join the yarn to round 18 (where the pink front loops were left unused). Begin each round with 3 ch and finish the round with a sl st.

Wings (2 Pieces)
Crochet with cream or white yarn:
1. 6 sc in MR (6)
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (18)
4-7. 18 sc (4 rounds)
8. (1 sc, 1 dec) x 6 (12)
9-12. 12 sc (4 rounds)
Fold in half and crochet through 2 stitches together (6). Leave a tail for sewing.
Bow
MR
3 ch, (1 dc in MR) x 3, 3 ch, 1 sl st in MR,
3 ch, (1 dc in MR) x 3, 3 ch,
1 sl st in MR.
Pull the MR tight, cut a long enough yarn tail, wrap the yarn around the center, and secure it.
Finishing the Toy
- Sew the legs to rounds 12 and 23, with 13-14 stitches between them.
- Sew on the antennae somewhere around rounds 3-4 from the top of the head.
- Embroider the eyes with black yarn on round 29 (leave 5-6 stitches between the eyes).
- Sew on the wings.
- Sew or tie the bow onto the antennae.
