Little Bug

Free crochet tutorial for Little Bug by Irina Artemova @irinely_art.
Using this pattern, you can crochet a little bug with a bouquet of flowers. Any plush yarn will work for this amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, Nako Bonbon Panda Baby, and others. For the flower bouquet, you can use any yarn of the same thickness.
The finished toy is about 8 cm tall, not including the antennae.
Materials and Tools
- Brown Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn (for the bug)
- Green acrylic yarn (for the leaves)
- White Vita Cotton Lira yarn (for the flowers)
- 2 mm and 4 mm crochet hooks
- Half beads, 9-10 mm (for the eyes and nose)
- Toy stuffing
- White felt
- Wire
- Glue
- Needle for sewing the pieces
- Scissors

Head
Crochet with brown plush yarn:

6-8: 30 sc
9: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
10: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)

Body
Crochet with brown plush yarn:
1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 inc (12)

Crochet with white yarn:
1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 sc
Leaves (make 9)
Crochet with green yarn:
1: 11 ch, starting in the second ch from the hook, crochet 10 sc
Bouquet Assembly
- Take the wire and wrap it with white yarn. This creates a "stem" as the base for the bouquet
- Glue the flowers to the stem
- Glue the leaves around it
- Tie it with a small piece of yarn

Toy Assembly

- Sew the head to the body
- Make the legs and antennae: wrap the wire with plush yarn, insert it into the body, and sew it in place
- Cut the whites of the eyes from felt
- Sew on the felt pieces
- Glue on the eyes and nose
- Little Bug is ready ;)
