Striped Tigers

A free crochet pattern for Striped Tigers by Alexandra Egorova @masterskayapodarkov1.
With this pattern, you can crochet a plush tiger cub using Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce yarn. You can use any tiger colors: orange, white, or yellow. If you like, you can also use toy joints.
Finished toy size: 33 cm.

- Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (1-2 skeins in the main color)
- YarnArt Jeans yarn (for embroidering the stripes)
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- 14-16 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- 45 mm joint
- Sewing needle for assembling the parts
- Scissors

It is very important to keep an eye on the marker in the body! It should run up the center back in a straight vertical line. If needed, crochet 1-2 more sc and move the marker. With orange:

Insert the joint (45 mm) into the body, preferably one with a long stem, or replace it with cotter pins. Using a joint is OPTIONAL. You can sew the head on instead.

Insert the eyes between rounds 13 and 14, leaving 5-6 stitches between them. First embroider the arrow-shaped corners and glue lashes to the eyes. After the eyes are secured, embroider the whites of the eyes. Stuff the head firmly as you crochet.

Toy Assembly

- Sew the muzzle on between rounds 7 and 14 inclusive.
- Sew the cap 2-3 rounds above the eyes so the tip of the nose is centered on the muzzle. Embroider the eyebrows, the stripes near the nose, and the smile.
- Sew the ears onto rounds 4-11 of the orange part of the head "cap".
- Embroider the stripes using 1-2 strands of thread (any thin thread or embroidery floss will work), alternating white and black colors. For a white tiger, alternate gray and black stripes.
- Sculpt the paws with thread.
- Sew the paw pads onto the paws as shown in the photo.
