Using this pattern, you can crochet a snowman wearing a scarf. The snowman has a headband with Christmas trees on its head. Any cotton blend yarn will work for this amigurumi: Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, YarnArt Jeans, and others.

Finished toy size: about 16 cm (about 21 cm including the Christmas trees).

Chain 9 ch and join the chain into a ring with a slip stitch. Continue crocheting in the round.

Do not stuff the nose firmly; just shape it. Sew the nose between rounds 21 and 26 of the head.

Eye Indentations

Make these if desired. Secure the yarn for the indentation on round 31 of the head, on the side (see photo). Insert the needle into the same point and bring it out under the eye. Move 1 stitch up from this point (under the eye), insert the needle there, and bring it out at the very first point. Pull the yarn slightly. Repeat the indentation for the other eye. Embroider the eyebrows.

Christmas Tree Top

Join yellow yarn to the top of the Christmas tree (working through the stitches on both sides of the tree), and crochet 5 dc with a common top into 1 stitch.

Snow on the Christmas Tree

Join white yarn to the last front loop of round 16 of the Christmas tree and crochet a round of sc. Repeat with rounds 13, 10, and 7 of the Christmas tree.

Headband

Use red yarn.

1: Chain 39 ch. Start crocheting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 38 dc

Sl st, cut the yarn, and hide the end.

Scarf

Change colors every 2 rows. Crochet in turning rows.

1: Chain 4 ch, start crocheting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 3 sc, ch, turn.
2: 3 sc, ch, turn.
3: 3 sc, ch, turn.

Continue following this pattern for the full length of the scarf. My snowman's scarf is 28 cm long.
