Snowman Ornament
Free crochet tutorial for a Snowman Ornament by @mii_toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a ball shaped like a snowman in a hat. Any fluffy or plush yarn will work for the amigurumi. For the hat and nose, you can use any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn.
Materials and Tools
- Fluffy Alize Softy yarn (for the snowman)
- Cotton blend yarn (for the nose and hat)
- 1 mm and 1.5 mm crochet hooks
- Embroidery floss for the face
- 1 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- 15 cm ribbon
- Needle
- Scissors

Ball
Use a 1.5 mm crochet hook:

Hat

Leave a yarn tail for sewing. When sewing on the hat, stuff it as well so it keeps its shape.
Nose
Use a 1 mm crochet hook:

4. Crochet 1 round even (5)
5. 1 inc + 1 sc + 1 inc + 1 sc + 1 inc (8)

7. Leave a yarn tail for sewing
Stuff the nose lightly.
Toy Assembly
Assemble and decorate the ball.
Sew on the hat, nose, bead eyes, and thin ribbon. For the mouth and eyebrows, I used black embroidery floss held double. Make a bow in any way that works for you and sew it to the bottom.
