Crochet amigurumi Scandinavian gnome

This free Scandinavian Gnome crochet pattern was designed by Ekaterina Stroykova @igrushka_1.

With this pattern, you can crochet a Scandinavian gnome. To make this amigurumi toy, you will need YarnArt Jeans cotton blend yarn and a 2 mm crochet hook. The beard can be made in two ways: with fuzzy wool yarn or simply with strands of any yarn. Embroider snowflakes on the hat for decoration.

The finished gnome is about 15 cm (5.9 in) tall.

Fold the piece in half and crochet 8 sc through both sides.

Repeat to the end of the round.

Next, change to white yarn and crochet 1 round in the back loops only (12).

Then repeat this color sequence:

2 rounds in white, 2 rounds in red.

Continue until the leg is as long as you would like.
