Mini Bunny and Bear

Free crochet tutorial for the Mini Bunny and Bear by Valeria @vivi_toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a bear and a bunny with a bow. Any cotton blend yarn works well for amigurumi: Alize Cotton Gold, YarnArt Jeans, Gazzal Baby Cotton, and others.
Finished bunny size: 17 cm. Finished bear size: 14 cm.
Materials and tools
- Alize Cotton Gold Tweed 55-white yarn, YarnArt Jeans 59-raspberry yarn (for the bunny)
- YarnArt Jeans 48-beige, 76-light blue, 70-brown yarn (for the bear)
- 2 mm crochet hook
- 6 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch marker
- Needle
- Scissors

Amigurumi Bunny and Bear Crochet Pattern
Arms

Fold in half and crochet 3 sc through both sides. Cut the yarn and pull it through the loop. Hide the end inside the piece with a needle.
Bear ears

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Fold the bottom of the ear in half and sew it together with a needle. Use the remaining yarn tail to sew the ear to the head.
Bear muzzle

Make 1 sl st and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Embroider the nose in a triangle shape and add a small line below it.
Legs

Make 1 sl st. Cut the yarn on the first leg, but not on the second one. Continue from the second leg to crochet the body. Stuff both legs.

Close the opening with a needle.
Sew on the muzzle (if you are making the bear), securing it with pins first.
Embroider the nose (if you are making the bunny), the whites of the eyes, and the eyebrows. Sew on the ears, securing them with pins first.
If desired, you can add shading with soft pastels, blush, or eyeshadow.
Bow
Crochet into MR:
(3 ch, 6 tr, 3 ch, sl st) x 2, 1 ch
Cut a long yarn tail. Wrap it around the center of the bow several times. Then wrap it a couple of times around the bunny's/bear's neck, secure the yarn and hide the ends inside the toy.
