Small Kitten

Free Small Kitten crochet tutorial by Kseniya @brooch_cott.

With this pattern, you can crochet a small kitten. For this amigurumi project, you can use any cotton blend yarn, splitting the strand into two parts: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold Fine, or YarnArt Cotton Soft.

Materials and Tools

• Yarn (cotton blend, 25 g / 160 m)
• Suitable crochet hook (I use 1.25 mm)
• Safety eyes or beads for toys
• Thread for embroidering the nose
• Toy stuffing
• Needles
• Scissors

Head

Start crocheting the head from the muzzle.

Make a chain of 2 ch.

1. In the second chain from the hook, crochet 5 sc. Make a turning chain and turn the work

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Head Shaping

Move on to shaping the head (secure all yarn tails in the lower part of the head, where the body will be attached).

• Make eye indentations and sew on the eyes, placing them between rounds 5 and 6 (about 7 sc between the eyes, counted on round 5).
• Embroider the nose.
• Sew on the ears approximately between rounds 11 and 12.
