Ghost

Free crochet tutorial for a ghost by Emily Freeman @emily_friman.
With this pattern, you can crochet a ghost. For this amigurumi project, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn and a suitable crochet hook will work. If you want, you can embroider the eyes with thread or use ready-made safety eyes.
The finished toy is about 5-6 cm (2-2.4 in).

Crochet Amigurumi Ghost Pattern
This ghost is very easy to make: crochet in the round with single crochet stitches, occasionally working increases and decreases. You can work in a spiral without a slip stitch.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (inc, sc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4: sc, (inc, 2 sc) x 5, inc, sc (24)
Rnd 5-7: 24 sc
Rnd 8: sc, (dec, 2 sc) x 5, dec, sc (18)
Rnd 9-10: 18 sc
At this point, you can stop and embroider the smile and, if needed, the eyes:

Rnd 11: (dec, sc) x 6 (12)
Rnd 12-13: 12 sc
At this stage, it is convenient to stuff the ghost:

Rnd 14: 6 dec (6)
Rnd 15: 6 sc (6)
Rnd 16: 3 dec (3)
Leave a long yarn tail, thread it through a needle, and pull the last loops closed. With this same yarn tail, it is convenient to sew the little tail slightly to the left, but you can leave it straight if you prefer. Secure the yarn, hide it under the stitches, and trim neatly.

The final touch is a light blush. You can use pastels, but I prefer regular pink blush.
