Forest Elf

With this pattern, you can crochet a forest elf with a pumpkin. For this amigurumi project, any acrylic, cotton, or cotton blend yarn and a suitable hook will work. For the hair, use eyelash yarn. The elf parts are crocheted in a spiral unless stated otherwise. For shading, you can use soft pastels or blush. Decorate the shoes with ribbon.

Finish off. Leave a long tail. Use the long tail to divide the pumpkin into segments. To do this, pass the needle from the bottom upward, wrap around the pumpkin, and then insert the needle again at the top exactly in the middle, dividing the pumpkin into 5 equal segments.

Crochet 1 small leaf in light green yarn and sew it to the top of the pumpkin. For the plant tendril, crochet a chain of 20 ch and, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet 3 sc in each ch. Sew on the finished tendril. For the stem, with brown yarn join 5 ch into a ring and crochet 6 rounds of 5 sc, then sew it to the pumpkin. Sew on a red pom-pom as the nose. Embroider the eyebrows and mouth with brown thread. Add blush to the cheeks.

For the earring, with gold thread and a 2 mm hook, crochet a chain of 16 ch. Starting from the 2nd ch from the hook, crochet sc in each stitch. Finish off. Leave a tail for sewing. Sew the earring to the ear.
