Amigurumi Fly Agaric Mushroom crochet

Free Fly Agaric Mushroom crochet tutorial by @tatiana_arpag.

With this pattern, you can crochet a fly agaric mushroom. Any two-color yarn works well for this amigurumi project. The dots on the cap are embroidered using the "French knot" stitch, but if you prefer, you can sew on beads, half beads, or small felt pieces.

Round 5: (4 sc, dec) x 4 times (20)
Rounds 6-7: 20 sc
Round 8: sc, dec, sc, dec, 14 sc (18)
Round 9: 18 sc
Round 10: sc, dec, sc, dec, 12 sc (16)

Lower Part of the Cap

Continue crocheting the lower part of the cap in sc. Start each round with 2 turning ch, and finish with a sl st.

Round 24: 24 dc in front loop only.
Crochet the next 2 rounds through both loops
Round 25: dc, inc (36)
Round 26: 2 dc, inc (48)

At this stage, attach the stem-color yarn to round 21 and crochet the skirt.

Skirt

Crochet the skirt as follows: (sc, 2 ch, sc) in each stitch.

If you want to make a rattle toy, do not forget to hide a rattle insert inside the cap stuffing.

Cut a long yarn tail, insert it into round 2 of the cap, and work a crab stitch all around, inserting the hook through each stitch. Embroider the cap with speckles using the "French knot" technique. Done!
