Doll Sundress Crochet Pattern
My doll is 29 cm (11.4 in) tall. You can adjust the length of the sundress by adding extra rows.
Waistband
Ch 100. Starting in the second ch from the hook, sc in each ch to the end. Fasten off.
Bodice
Fold the waistband in half. Find the center and count 4 sts to the right. Join the yarn. Work in turned rows.
Row 1: Ch 2, 8 dc (9)
Row 2: Ch 2, 8 dc (9)
Row 3: Ch 2, 8 dc (9)
Do not cut the yarn. Continue with the first strap. Ch 25, turn, and starting in the third ch from the hook, dc in each ch to the end.
Continue working dc down the side of the bodice to the waistband. Insert the hook into the waistband stitch—the second one from the edge of the bodice—and work a sl st. Turn.
Strap Edging
Ch 2, 2 dc in the first st, (skip 1 st, sl st, ch 2, 2 dc in the same st) repeat to the end of the strap.
Leave a long tail for sewing.

Second Strap
Join the yarn at the other corner of the bodice and work as follows:
Row 1: Ch 26. Cut the yarn, leaving a long enough tail for sewing.
Row 2: Starting at the waistband, join the yarn, ch 2, then dc to the end of the row.
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, and work the edging as for the first strap.
Finish the row with a sl st in the waistband. Fasten off and weave in the end.
Skirt
Join the yarn in the 10th st from the center of the piece, not counting the center stitch.
Row 1: Ch 2, (skip 1 st, work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in the next st) x 9, skip 1 st, 1 dc.
Rows 2-6: Ch 2, work (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in each ch-1 space from the previous row x 9, 1 dc.
Row 7: Work an openwork edging: (ch 3, sl st) repeat to the end of the row.
Sew the straps to the back of the waistband. I attached mine at approximately the 22nd stitch from the center of the waistband. I recommend trying the sundress on your doll before sewing the straps in place.
