Demogorgon

Free Demogorgon crochet tutorial by @marina.shershneva.

With this pattern, you can crochet a Demogorgon from the series "Stranger Things". For this amigurumi, you can use any micro plush or micro velour (a thinner version of plush yarn). The legs, body, and head are crocheted as one piece, and the arms are crocheted in. The petals are crocheted separately, then sewn on.

• Any yarn (micro plush and micro velour, it is slightly thinner than YarnArt Jeans)

• 2.5 mm crochet hook

Crochet 2 additional sc, fold in half, and crochet 4 sc through both sides of the piece. Leave a tail for sewing.

Sew the arms to the body approximately between rounds 27 and 28.

Mouth

In black:

1: 6 sc in MR

3: (1 sc, inc) x 6
4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 in front loop only

Make a sl st in the first stitch of this round to close the round, ch. Cut and fasten off the yarn.

Change yarn to red:

Attach yarn to this same 4th round and crochet (2 sc, inc) x 6 in back loop only.

Next, crochet petals in turning rows.

Make a sl st in the first stitch of this round to close the round, 2 ch

1: 4 hdc, 2 ch, turn
2: 2 hdc in one stitch, 2 dc, 2 hdc in one stitch, 2 ch, turn
3: 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, ch, turn
4: 2 hdc, dc dec (as a regular decrease, but dc instead of sc), 2 hdc, 1 ch, turn
5: dec, dc, dec, 1 ch, turn
6: dec of three stitches, ch

Cut and fasten off the yarn.

Return to round 4, move 1 stitch left from the first petal, attach a new red yarn strand, and crochet a new petal.

Crochet a total of 5 petals like this.

Crochet the outer part the same way in the main color, but in round 4 of the circle crochet only through both loops.

After the last petal of the outer mouth part, do not cut the yarn, continue crocheting.

Place both parts together with the right sides facing out and simply crochet sc around the full perimeter.

At the highest point of each petal, crochet into one stitch: 2 sc, 2 ch, sc in ch, sc in the same stitch where the first sc was made.

Sew this piece exactly in the center of the head.
