Little Crow Brooch

Free crochet tutorial for a crow brooch by Anna Solomonova @asol_toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small jackdaw chick in the shape of a little crow. Using jewelry findings, you can turn it into an original handmade brooch. Any fine yarn will work well for this amigurumi project. The finished bird can be decorated with beads.
Materials and Tools
- Iris yarn: black, white, yellow/orange
- 0.7 mm crochet hook
- Synthetic poly filling
- Black sewing thread
- Black seed beads
- Beading needle
- Needle for sewing parts

Round 2: 1 sc, 2 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc, 1 sc - 12 sc
Round 3: 2 sc, 2 inc, 4 sc, 2 inc, 2 sc - 16 sc
Rounds 4-7: 16 sc
Round 8: 3 sc, 2 inc, 6 sc, 2 inc, 3 sc - 20 sc
Rounds 9-14: 20 sc
Round 15: 3 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc, 2 dec, 3 sc - 16 sc
Round 16: 2 sc, 2 dec, 4 sc, 2 dec, 2 sc - 12 sc
Stuff lightly and sew the opening closed.

Eye
6 sc in MR, close with a slip stitch
Sew on the beak and eye. Sew a black bead into the center of the eye, bring the needle out in the wing area, and embroider the wing with beads. If desired, embroider the legs with yellow thread.
