Bunny with a Carrot

A free crochet tutorial for Bunny with a Carrot by Irina Artemova @irinely_art.
Using this pattern, you can crochet a plush bunny and a carrot. Any plush yarn will work for this amigurumi project: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, NAKO Bonbon Panda Baby, and others. For the carrot, you can use any acrylic yarn or cotton blend yarn.
The finished toy measures about 9 cm (excluding the ears).
Materials and tools
- Plush yarn NAKO Bonbon Panda Baby, color 3121 (bright pink), color 3081 (white)
- Acrylic yarn, color green
- Alize Baby Best yarn, color 336 (orange)
- 4 mm crochet hook
- 9 mm half beads (for the eyes and nose)
- Toy stuffing
- White felt (for the eyes)
- Thread for sewing parts
- Needle
- Scissors

Body
With pink yarn:
1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 inc (12)
3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
5-7: 24 sc (3 rounds)
8: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
9-11: 30 sc (3 rounds)
12: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
13: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
14: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
15: 6 dec
Stuff with filling, pull the opening closed, and sew it shut.
Paws (2 pieces)
With pink yarn:
1: 6 ch, starting in the second chain from the hook, 5 sc
Muzzle
With white yarn:
1: 6 ch, starting in the second chain from the hook, 4 sc, 3 sc in the last chain, 3 sc along the other side of the chain, inc
Ears (2 pieces)
With pink yarn:
1: 6 in MR
2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
3-5: 9 sc (3 rounds)
6: 1 dec, 7 sc (8)
7: 1 dec, 6 sc (7)
Carrot
With orange yarn:
1: 6 in MR
2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
3-4: 2 sc (2 rounds)
5: 8 sc, inc (10)

Greens (5 pieces)
With green yarn:
1: 7 ch, 6 sc
Sew the greens to the carrot.

Toy assembly
- Sew on the muzzle and nose
- Cut felt eye whites and sew them on
- Sew on the ears, paws, and muzzle
- Embroider the mouth
- Sew on the carrot
