Bunny Mia and Kitty Tim

Free crochet tutorial for Bunny Mia and Kitty Tim by Miranda Ayvazyan @zayka_mi_amigurumi.

Using this pattern, you can crochet a plush bunny and a plush kitty. Any plush yarn will work for this amigurumi: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others. The toy bodies are crocheted with a 3.5 mm hook, and the bunny ears with a 4.5 mm hook.

• Thread for embroidering the face

Fasten off, hide the end inside the toy, and cut the yarn.

Toy Assembly and Finishing

Shape the eyes and mouth.

Take a long needle with thread matching the yarn, secure a knot under the muzzle, and bring the needle out at the outer corner of the eye. Insert it at the inner corner of the eye and bring it out under the muzzle, where you first inserted the needle. Move over by 1 stitch and repeat the same for the other eye, pulling the thread to shape the face. Repeat 2 times.

Tie the thread ends together, bring them inside, and cut the thread.

Shape the mouth between rounds 32 and 33:

• With black thread, embroider the upper eyelids and eyebrows.
• For the kitty, embroider a line from the nose to the mouth and the whiskers.
• Using matching thread, sew the kitty ears on (placed on rounds 42-47), leaving 5-6 sc between the ears.
