Mr. Zombie

Free Mr. Zombie crochet tutorial by Galina Konysheva @konyshevatoys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a zombie. Any plush yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project. The body and head are made as one piece. The arms are crocheted into the body.
Finished toy size is about 22 cm.
Materials and Tools
- Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn: 80345 for the head (1/2 skein), 80302 for the sweater and hood (1/2 skein), 80304 (for the pants)
- Vita Coco yarn (or similar) for assembly (I used reinforced thread)
- Black Vita Coco yarn for the mouth
- 3.5 mm crochet hook, 4.5 mm hook for the hood
- 10 mm and 12 mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch markers
- Safety pins
- Tapestry needle and regular needle
- Scissors

Arms (2 pieces)

Switch to the sweater color

Lightly stuff. Fold in half and crochet 6 sc through both layers. Cut the yarn, fasten off, and hide the tail. The arms will be crocheted into the body.

Insert safety eyes. Sew the eyes in place.
Face Shaping
Mark the mouth and nose line with pins. Insert the needle from the bottom of the head and bring it out at the corner of the mouth. Pull the thread over the pins and secure the thread position with stitches.

Toy Assembly
- Sew the head to the body.
- Sew on the hood.

If the hood is too small, you can add one more increase round. Cut the yarn, fasten off, and hide the tail.
Go back to round 20 and crochet in FLO. Fasten off and hide the yarn tail inside the body.

Then crochet 18 ch, make a sl st on the back in FLO, crochet 18 more ch, and secure it at the front on the pocket with a sl st. Cut the yarn and hide the tail.
