Wolf and Puppy

Free crochet tutorial for Wolf and Puppy by Anastasia Konovalova.
With this pattern, you can crochet a plush puppy and a wolf. For this amigurumi project, any plush yarn will work: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others.
Finished size with a 4.0 mm crochet hook is about 22 cm. Yarn usage is 3/4 of a skein.
Materials and Tools
- Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn
- Vita Coco yarn (for the nose and embroidery)
- 4 mm crochet hook
- Safety eyes
- Synthetic poly filling
- 15 mm buttons for attaching the legs and arms
- 2 discs measuring 20 mm and 18 mm, 2 cotter pins
- Round-nose pliers (if you want the head to turn; optionally, you can simply sew it on)
- Needle for sewing pieces together
- Scissors

Insert the cotter pin with the 20 mm disc between rounds 10 and 11, exactly in the center.

Cut the yarn, fasten off, and close the opening. Shape the muzzle with sculpting.

Using the cotter pin left from the head, connect it to the body exactly in the center, insert the 18 mm disc, and secure it with round-nose pliers.

Assembly
- Use the remaining yarn tail to sculpt the muzzle.

- Attach the legs using button jointing. Where the sl st are, that is the inner side of the leg.
- Sew the ears to the sides of the head.
- You can lightly shade the area around the eyes with soft pastels (on my wolf I shaded the eyes, ears, and paws).
- Sew on the eyes (I used regular black sew-on eyes).
- Embroider the eyelashes and eyebrows.
- Sew the nose on where the muzzle sculpting is located.
- Embroider claws on the paws. On the upper legs, make the claws look like they disappear into the paw where the sl st were made.
