Using this pattern, you can crochet a doll, a girl in a watermelon dress. You can use any yarn for this amigurumi project: Lanosa Alara, Alize Cotton Baby Soft, YarnArt Jeans, and others.

Shape the face and embroider the eyes.

Dress

With pink yarn, crochet in turning rows.

1. ch 38, starting from the 9th chain, crochet 30 sc (30) (this will be the button loop)
2. ch, 5 sc, 7 ch (skip 5 sc, crochet into the 6th stitch), 10 sc, 7 ch (skip 5 sc), 5 sc (20)
3. ch, crochet one row of sc (34)
4-9. 34 sc
10. Join the back edges of the dress with sl st; 2 ch, work 2 dc into each stitch, join with sl st
11. 2 ch, crochet alternating 1 dc, 2 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc, and so on, join with sl st
12-19. Work 2 ch, then dc in each stitch, join with sl st
20. In front loops only, work slip stitches all the way around, sl st, change to white yarn, 2 ch, and crochet one round of dc in back loops only.

Repeat the same step above for each color (light green, dark green). Embroider the watermelon seeds with black yarn.

Wig

3. In back loops only, crochet: 2 ch, 2 dc in each half-loop, join with sl st
4. In FLO, crochet: 1 dc, 2 dc (increase) in one half-loop, alternate, 1 dc, 2 dc, join with sl st at the end

Without cutting the yarn, continue: ch 60, crochet 59 sc, join to the base with sl st, and keep crocheting this way into each half-loop
