Water Drop

Free Water Drop crochet tutorial by Anna Rubtsova @anutatoys.

With this pattern, you can crochet a water-drop keychain. For this amigurumi project, any plush yarn and a matching crochet hook will work. The toy is crocheted in a spiral, very quickly and easily. Use safety eyes. You can embroider the smile and eyebrows with any smooth thread.

The finished toy measures about 10 cm.

Materials and Tools

• Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby 315 (turquoise), 20-30 g
• YarnArt Jeans 53 (black) for embroidery
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 12 mm safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Stitch markers
• Pins
• Keychain hardware
• Needle for sewing parts
• Scissors

Water Drop Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Start by chaining 2 ch. Stuff as you go.

1. Work 7 sc into the second chain from the hook (or 7 sc in MR)

3. (1 sc, inc) x 7 (21)
4. (2 sc, inc) x 7 (28)
5-8. 28 sc (4 rounds)
5. (5 sc, dec) x 4 (24)

Insert the eyes between rounds 6 and 7, with 6 sc between them.

Cut the yarn and hide the tail. Embroider the eyebrows and mouth. Attach the keychain hardware.
