Crochet Venus Symbol Pattern
Chain 30, join into a ring. Crochet in the round.
Round 1: 30 sc
Round 2: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
Round 3: (5 sc, inc) x 6 (42)
Rounds 4-5: 42 sc
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing the 2 circle pieces together. Attach the yarn to the chain stitches and crochet the second piece the same way as the first one. Do not cut the yarn yet; you can secure the loop with a stitch marker.
Sew both pieces together through the outer loops, leaving 4 stitches open on each side for a total of 8 stitches. Stuff firmly. Return to the loop marked earlier and crochet the main stem in the round:
Rounds 1-6: 8 sc (6 rounds)
Continue in turning rows:
Rows 7-10: 4 sc (4 rows)
Do not cut the yarn. Move to the remaining 4 sc from round 6 and crochet the same way. Now crochet the side bars: work 8 sc for 4 rows on each side, sew the edges, and stuff.
Continue crocheting the main stem:
Rounds 11-15: 8 sc (5 rounds)
Stuff and sew closed.
The Venus symbol is ready!
