Crochet amigurumi valentine heart on a stick pattern
Valentine's Day is a wonderful holiday filled with joy, love, and happiness. On this day, you can say "I love you" even to people you were not ready to say those words to before. And of course, sweet little valentine gifts remind your loved ones of your feelings.
Today I suggest crocheting a valentine. Making this charming heart on a stick takes very little time, but it brings so much joy. You can tuck this valentine into a card, stick it into a bouquet or flower pot, decorate a festive table or your gift with it, or use it as a prop for a romantic photo shoot.
Top part of the heart - "cups" (2 pieces)
Round 1: 6 sc in MR
Round 2: 6 inc (12)
Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rounds 4-5: 18 sc
On one "cup," fasten off and cut the yarn. On the second one, do not cut the working yarn; continue crocheting: make 1 chain and 1 slip stitch into the second "cup." Then crochet one continuous round around both pieces.

Round 6: 18 sc around the first "cup," 1 sc in the chain between the cups, 18 sc around the second "cup," 1 sc in the chain between the cups (38)
Round 7: 16 sc, triple decrease (the center stitch of this decrease should be on the sc you made in the chain between the cups, and in the next rounds - on the decrease from the previous round), 16 sc, dec3 (34)
Round 8: (14 sc, dec3) x 2 (30)
Round 9: (12 sc, dec3) x 2 (26)
Round 10: (10 sc, dec3) x 2 (22)
Round 11: (8 sc, dec3) x 2 (18)
Round 12: (6 sc, dec3) x 2 (14)
Stuff the heart.
Round 13: (4 sc, dec3) x 2 (10)
Round 14: (2 sc, dec3) x 2 (6)
Round 15: 6 sc
Fasten off, cut the yarn, and weave in the end. Use the bamboo stick to add a bit more stuffing inside the heart.
Glue the stick in place so the heart does not slip off it at the worst possible moment. How to do it: insert the stick into the heart as far as it can go, then pull it out slightly (just 3-4 mm), apply glue to it, and quickly insert the stick back.

Now you can decorate the heart with a bow made of satin ribbon. And gift it to someone you love!
