Free Valentine Girl crochet tutorial by Sasha Moiseeva @toys.sanka.m.

With this pattern, you can crochet a doll in a dress and a headband with hearts. Any cotton blend or cotton yarn will work for this amigurumi project. This toy can become a charming decoration or a Valentine's Day gift.

Valentine Girl Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Legs (2 pieces)

Start with brown yarn:

1: chain 6, inc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc, 4 sc in the last ch. Turn your work. 3 sc, inc in the last stitch (14)
2: 1 sc, inc, 3 sc, (inc) x 4, 4 sc, inc (20)
3: 2 sc, inc, 3 sc, (1 sc, inc) x 4, 5 sc, inc (26)
4: 26 sc in BLO.

You can prepare a cardboard insert cut to the size of the sole and place it inside the foot.

Change to the sock color. I crocheted the socks in different colors. Crochet the right leg striped.

Change to yellow.

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Return to round 14, where you worked in BLO, and crochet as follows: Important: the hook points downward.

Join white yarn. Crochet 12 sc around in FLO. Change to yellow. Crochet 12 sc. Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Crochet the second leg in the same way, but make the sock in one solid color. When you reach the sock, crochet as follows:

9: 12 sc in BLO
10-15: 12 sc (6 rounds)
Next, as on the right leg, change to the skin color.
16-26: 12 sc (5 rounds)

Do not cut the yarn.

Return to round 14, where you worked in BLO, and crochet as follows:

Join white yarn. Chain 3, sl st into the next sc, chain 3 again, sl st into the next sc. Continue to the end of the round. Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Body

On the left leg, crochet 3 sc so the last sc is on the side. Chain 6 and join to the right leg.

Close the opening, fasten off, and cut the yarn.

Ears (2 pieces)

Join beige yarn around rounds 62-64 and crochet:

2 ch, popcorn stitch (3 hdc with one top in 1 sc), 2 ch, sl st into the same sc.

Make the second ear the same way.

Arms (2 pieces)

Crochet with the skin color.

Fold in half and crochet 5 sc through both layers. Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew to the body at round 45.

Hair

Use ginger yarn.

1: 6 sc in MR

3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

Start crocheting curls. I made them slightly different lengths. Chain 35-40, turn, and crochet sc along the chain to the end. Sl st into the next sc. Chain 35-40 again, turn, and crochet sc along the chain to the end.

Sl st into the next sc. Repeat this 17 times. Make bangs. Chain 11, turn, and crochet sc along the chain to the end. Sl st into the next sc. Repeat 2 times. Chain 7, turn, and crochet sc along the chain to the end. Repeat 3 times. Chain 11 again, turn, and crochet sc along the chain to the end. Sl st into the next sc. Repeat 2 times. Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew to the head.

Panties

Use white yarn.

Chain 36.
1: Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, crochet 35 sc to the end, turn your work.

Work sl st around the entire piece. Sew the top edges together, the first and last 2 rows. The panties are ready.

Headband

Use red yarn.

Chain 50, try it on the doll's head, and if it is not long enough, add as many ch as needed. Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, crochet 49 sc.

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Hearts for the Headband (2 pieces)

Use red yarn.

3: 9 sc

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet one more piece, but do not cut the yarn. Join it to the first piece.

4: 9 sc around the first piece, 9 sc around the second piece (18)

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet 2 hearts. Take a 3.5 cm piece of chenille wire, glue one end into the heart and the other end into the doll's head.

Dress

Start with pink yarn.

Change yarn color to white.

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Return to round 4. Join white yarn. Crochet the same way as the bottom of the skirt, that is: 3 ch, sl st into the next sc, 3 ch, sl st into the next sc - continue to the end of the round.

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet the second sleeve the same way.
