Then make an edging (keep it symmetrical: start on one wing from one side, and on the second wing from the other side).

Eyes (2 pieces)
Start with black Vita Coco yarn:
1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 inc (12), change yarn to blue
3: 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, change yarn to white, move loop by pulling it behind the eye upward; pull it out 2 stitches away from blue, then with white crochet 4 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc
Cut yarn leaving tail for sewing. Then with black yarn crochet lashes on top of the eye; mine had 13 sc each.
4: Embroider highlights with white yarn
Muzzle Sculpting
Insert needle in round 11 near marker; needle comes out on top roughly between rounds 6 and 7 (where the 4 increases are, offset by one stitch). Then needle goes to the opposite side into the same area with increases, offset by one stitch. Keep tightening a little and checking shape. Then needle goes back the other way, but slightly higher, and repeat.

Move the needle back and forth until you are satisfied with result. When done, bring needle to starting point. Tie threads, tighten, cut, and hide inside toy.
Toy Assembly
- Sew on eyes, or embroider sleeping eyes.
- Embroider lashes, eyebrows, mouth, and nostrils.
- Sew on horn, and do not forget to stuff it.
- Sew on ears; mine are between rounds 13 and 17, 11 stitches apart, sewn in an arc shape.
- Sew on wings.
- Make mane and tail. I used yarn in 3 colors. Cut to 30-35 cm length. Fullness is up to taste; I like it fuller. Then catch a loop, pull all 3 strands through, tie both ends together, done.
