Unicorn Girl Doll

Free crochet tutorial for the Unicorn Girl by Ayşe K. Öneş @ayse.k.ones.

Using this pattern, you can crochet a doll with multicolored hair. You can use any cotton or blended yarn.

Materials and Tools

• Cotton yarn: skin tone, white, light pink, yellow, lilac, turquoise, hot pink
• 12 mm safety eyes
• Crochet hook suitable for your yarn
• Toy stuffing
• Sewing needles
• Embroidery thread
• Blush or pastel (for cheeks)
• Rhinestones (for the horn)
• Scissors

Shoulder Ruffle

Light pink yarn. Work from the back side, starting from the middle of round 50:

(2 dc in one stitch) x 5, in the front loops on the arm (2 dc in one stitch) x 5, front (2 dc in one stitch) x 9, in the front loops on the arm (2 dc in one stitch) x 5, back (2 dc in one stitch) x 5 = 58

Hair

You need the following colors: hot pink, yellow, light pink, turquoise, lilac. Crochet 3 strands of each color. 37 ch, start in the 2nd chain from the hook, inc x 4, 31 sc.

Horn

White yarn:

1: 6 sc in MR
2: 6 sc
3: (sc, inc) x 3 = 9
4-5: 9 sc
6: (2 sc, inc) x 3 = 12
7-1: 12 sc. The author glued rhinestones onto it.

Toy Assembly

• Sew the horn to round 3, in front of the middle part of the head.
• Sew the hair strands prepared around the horn close to each other.
• Place the eyes between rounds 18 and 19 with 8 stitches between them.
• Use embroidery thread to stitch eyelashes and lips, and apply blush to the cheeks.
