Tiger Cub Magnet

Free crochet tutorial for a Tiger Cub Magnet by Marina @pumahandmade.
With this tutorial, you can crochet a tiger cub magnet. Any acrylic yarn, cotton yarn, or cotton blend yarn and a matching crochet hook will work for this amigurumi project.
Finished toy size: about 4.5 x 5.5 cm.
Materials and Tools
- Acrylic yarn: white, orange, black
- 1.5 mm and 2 mm crochet hooks
- Thread for embroidering the muzzle
- Safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- White felt
- Fishing line
- Magnet
- Glue
- Needle for sewing pieces together

Crochet Amigurumi Tiger Cub Magnet Pattern
Ears (make 2)
Rnd 1. With orange yarn and a 2 mm hook, crochet the base of the ear: 5 sc in MR
Rnd 2. With a 1.5 mm hook, join white yarn in the first sc of the first round. Crochet around the orange ear base: (sc, inc) x 2, inc
Leave long tails for sewing on the ears and cut the yarn.
Muzzle
With white yarn and a 2 mm hook:
Rnd 1. Ch 3. Starting in the second chain from the hook: sc, 4 sc in the next stitch, work on the opposite side of the chain, 3 sc in the next stitch (8)

Head
Crochet two pieces (face and back of the head) with orange yarn and a 2 mm hook:

You should have two pieces.

- Sew the muzzle to the face. Place a little stuffing between the muzzle and the face so the muzzle is slightly raised. Cut the whites of the eyes from white felt as one piece.
- Sew the whites of the eyes to the face above the muzzle, separating the right and left eyes with thread.
- Sew on bead pupils (or small beads).
- Place the face and back of the head together. Crochet around the edge of the head with reverse single crochet. Leave a small opening for stuffing.
- Stuff the tiger firmly so it looks plump and cheerful.
- Now you have a happy little face. Sew on the ears and whiskers. Glue on the magnet.
