Tiger Cub

Free Tiger Cub crochet pattern by Alena Kalabina @kalabina_toys.
With this pattern, you can crochet a plush tiger cub. Any plush yarn in orange, white, and black will work well for this amigurumi project.
The finished toy is about 30 cm tall.
Materials and Tools
- YarnArt Dolce yarn in orange shade 778 or Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80368 (about 85 g)
- YarnArt Dolce 741 yarn in white (about 17 g)
- Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80343 yarn in chocolate brown (about 5 g)
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- 16 mm safety eyes
- 16 mm velvet nose (glue it on with super glue at the end)
- 30 mm hardboard disks and 25x2 mm cotter pins
- Needle
- Glue
- Scissors

Amigurumi Tiger Cub Crochet Pattern
Lower Legs (Make 2)
1. With white yarn: 3 ch + 1 tch
2. 1 sc in the second chain from the hook, 1 sc, 3 sc in the last chain, 1 sc, inc, sl st.
3. inc, 1 sc, 3 inc, 1 sc, 2 inc, sl st.
4. inc, 3 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 2 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, sl st.
5. 19 sc, change to the main color
6. 19 sc
7. 4 sc, 4 dec, 7 sc (15) (place the decreases exactly in the center)
8. 5 sc, 1 dec, 8 sc (14)
Then crochet 7 rounds and stuff the leg, but do not stuff the top too firmly. Insert a disk with a cotter pin between rounds 12 and 13.
In the next round, make decreases every other sc, then close the opening with a needle. If you are not using cotter-pin joints, after round 15 you can fold the piece in half and crochet 6 sc through both layers. The legs will be sewn to the body.

Arms (Make 2)
1. 6 in MR with white yarn
2. 6 inc (12), change color
3. 12 sc
4. 2 dec (10)
Crochet 8 rounds without increases, fold in half, crochet 4 sc through both layers, and leave a tail for sewing.
Ears (Make 2)
1. 6 in MR
2. 6 inc (12), cut the yarn
3. Crochet around with dark yarn: 12 sc, leave a tail for sewing
Head
1. 6 sc in MR
2. 6 inc (12)
3. 1 sc, inc x 6 times (18)
4. 2 sc, inc x 6 times (24)
5. 3 sc, inc x 6 times (30)
6. 4 sc, inc x 6 times (36)

Crochet 4 rounds without increases (48)
Insert the eyes with the safety backs between rounds 9 and 10. Leave 5 sc between the eyes. I heat the safety backs with a lighter.

Embroider the eyebrows and body stripes with dark yarn.
