Crocheted Teddy Bear

Free Teddy Bear crochet tutorial by Anna @burgardt_toys.

With this pattern, you can crochet a small teddy bear. For the patches, you will need small pieces of felt or fabric. For this amigurumi project, any thin yarn and a matching crochet hook will work. You can turn the bear into a brooch or a keychain using special hardware.

Finished toy size is about 5-6 cm.

Materials and Tools

  • Gamma Iris yarn, color 0078, plus a little pink, black, and white yarn
  • 1 mm crochet hook
  • 3-4 mm safety eyes
  • Synthetic poly filling
  • Black sewing thread
  • 10 cm wire (1 mm thick)
  • Felt for patches
  • Glue
  • Needle
  • Scissors

Make a magic ring, but do not join. Turn the work and crochet 6 sc around it. Leave a tail for sewing.

Muzzle

Leave a tail for sewing and add a little stuffing while sewing it to the head.
