Surprised Bear in Shorts

Crochet tutorial for Surprised Bear in Shorts by Liliya Sharipova @moi_prelesti.
With this pattern, you can crochet a small teddy bear in pants. For amigurumi, any acrylic yarn, cotton yarn, or cotton blend yarn with a matching hook will work. The author recommends Pekhorka Uspeshnaya yarn. The toy's pants are removable.

You can skip 1-2 rounds, and the arms will be a little shorter (like on the gray bear).

Pull the opening closed, leave a tail for sewing. I attached the arms with thread joints at the shoulders. Sew the parts in place.
Muzzle Details
Crochet the white eye background with white yarn. Ch 6, from the second chain from hook work 5 sc, turn.
Right away, from the second chain from hook work 4 sc (do NOT make a turning chain or anything else, just make the first sc a bit loose),

Pull through the yarn, leave a tail for sewing, cut. You should get a trapezoid-like shape.
Then embroider the nose and mouth. Leave the thread for now. Sew on the white base, split it into 2 with black embroidery floss, and embroider eyebrows. Then sew on bead eyes.
Shorts
Crochet the shorts (use yarn about the same thickness as the main yarn):
1. 21 ch, join with sl st to the first chain, 20 sc
2-3. 20 sc
Sl st, cut the yarn. Crochet the second part.
4. Join parts: 1 ch, join with sc, then 41 sc around (42)
5-6. 42 sc
7. 10 sc, inc, 19 sc, inc, 11 sc (44)

15. 8 sc, chain 38, from the 30th chain work sl st back in the opposite direction
