Space Friend
Free crochet tutorial for Space Friend by Anya Eliseeva @ann_the_amigurumer.
With these instructions, you can crochet an alien. Any acrylic yarn, cotton yarn, or cotton blend yarn will work for this amigurumi, along with a suitable crochet hook. You will also need something for decoration: star-shaped buttons, bells, beads, and so on.

Crochet with purple yarn.
9 + 1 ch (start crocheting in the 2nd chain from the hook)
Rnd 1: 8 sc, 3 sc in the 1st ch of the chain, turn your work, 7 sc, inc in the 9th ch of the chain (20)
Rnd 2: 6 sc, 2 hdc, 2 hdc in 1 stitch, 3 hdc in 1 stitch, 2 hdc in 1 stitch, 2 hdc, 6 sc, inc (25)
Fasten off and cut the yarn. Crochet one more piece in the same way, but do not cut the yarn. Fold the 2 pieces wrong sides together and start joining them, working through both layers:

Toy Assembly
In this pattern, I offer my own version of the Space Friend. You can assemble yours however you like. Maybe your antennae will become a tail, the spots on the wings will become cheeks, and the belly will become a spot on the forehead.
