Sofi Doll

Free crochet master class for the Sofi Doll by Tatyana Medvedeva @__knittoys.

With this pattern you can crochet a doll in a coat and beret. Any cotton or cotton blend yarn will work for this amigurumi project. The author recommends Drops Safran and Alize Cotton Gold.

Materials and tools

• Drops Safran yarn (100% cotton, 50 g / 160 m)
• Alize Cotton Gold yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 100 g / 330 m)
• 1.3 mm and 2 mm crochet hooks
• Safety eyes
• Toy stuffing
• Needle for sewing parts
• Scissors

Start crocheting with blue yarn. Split Alize Cotton Gold thread in half and crochet with a 1.3 mm hook:

Attach black yarn to the right eye. Split Alize Cotton Gold thread in half and crochet with a 1.3 mm hook:

Hair

Start crocheting with brown (melange) yarn. Work in turning rows:

Without cutting the yarn, join the remaining hair section with the bangs and crochet around with 18 sc. Use this same yarn to tighten the opening on top.

Head finishing

• Sew on the eyes (switch to the needed yarn color around the perimeter, white or black).
• Sew on the pupils (the gaze is directed to one side).
• Embroider white highlights on the pupils.
• Sew on the nose and ears.
• Sew on the hair (distance from bangs to eye: 4 sc).
• Embroider the mouth and eyebrows with black yarn.

Crochet two pieces, fasten off and cut yarn on the first piece. On the second piece, do not cut the yarn and crochet the two soles together. Then continue crocheting the shoe. Repeat the same for the second shoe.

Join light brown yarn to the sole:
