Crochet Pattern: Amigurumi Rowan Branch
Rowan Berries
Crochet 2 berries right away. At the beginning, leave a long yarn tail to close the stitches of the first berry.
1. 6 sc in MR (6)
2. (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
3-5. 9 sc (9) for 3 rounds
6. (1 sc, dec) x 3 (6)
Without cutting the yarn, immediately make a chain (for each pair of berries I use a different number of ch, from 8 to 12).
7. start the second berry, work into the second chain from the hook: 6 sc (6)
8. (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
9-11. 9 sc (9)
12. (1 sc, dec) x 3 (6)
Stuff the berries. Pull the yarn through the loop, cut it, leaving a long tail. Thread the tail onto a needle and close the 6 stitches through the front loops. Fasten off and hide the yarn inside.
Go back to the first berry and repeat the same. On top of each berry, embroider 5 stitches with black embroidery floss, secure with a knot, cut the thread, and hide it inside.
Branch with Leaves (2 pieces)

1. 23 ch, 1st leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 6 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st (9 sc branch tail and 13 sc leaf)
2. 19 ch, 2nd leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st (6 sc branch and 12 sc leaf)
3. 18 ch, 3rd leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 4 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st (6 sc branch and 11 sc leaf)
4. 14 ch, 4th center leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 4 dc, hdc, 1 sc and 4 sl st along the branch (9 sc leaf and 4 sc branch)
5. 12 ch, 5th leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 4 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st, 6 sl st along the branch (11 sc leaf and 6 sc along the branch)
6. 13 ch, 6th leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st, 6 sl st along the branch (12 sc leaf and 6 sc along the branch)
7. 14 ch, 7th leaf: sl st, 1 sc, hdc, 6 dc, hdc, 1 sc, 2 sl st, 6 sl st along the branch (13 sc leaf and 9 sc along the branch)
Edging the Branch with Leaves
Along the branch, always crochet sl st, trying to catch the front loop of the top stitch and the back loop of the bottom stitch. As a result, it looks like a cord. When edging the leaf, crochet loosely and pull each loop up fully. Along the leaf, start with 2 sl st, then ch + sl st, repeat all the way around the leaf, and finish with 2 sl st.
