Amigurumi rooster on a stick crochet

With this pattern, you can crochet a rooster lollipop on a stick. Any yarn and a matching hook will work for this amigurumi project. The author recommends yarn with a yardage of 160-220 meters per 50 g skein. Small beads can be used for the eyes. Any wooden stick will work, for example a food skewer about 5 mm thick.

Finished toy size is about 7 cm tall and 6 cm wide.

Beak / Wattle

Leave a 6 cm yarn tail.

In MR - 3 ch, sl st under the ring, 10 ch, sl st, 10 ch, sl st, tighten the ring, cut the yarn, leaving 6 cm for attaching;

Tail

Leave a 6 cm yarn tail.

In MR - (23 ch, sl st under the ring) x 6, tighten the ring, cut the yarn, leaving 6 cm for attaching;

Wings

Leave a 6 cm yarn tail.

In MR - 14 ch, sl st under the ring, tighten, cut the yarn, leaving 6 cm for attaching; crochet the second one the same way;

Body

Leave a 50 cm yarn tail for crocheting the comb and sewing on the eyes.

1. in MR - 6 sc, tighten the ring;
2. 6 inc (12);
3. (inc, 1 sc) x 6 (18);
4. (1 sc, inc, 1 sc) x 6 (24), 3 sc (shift stitches);
5-9. 24 sc, at the end 1 sc (shift stitch), sl st, cut the yarn;

Also crochet the second part, at the end 1 sc (shift stitch), do not cut the yarn, leave the loop open.

10. Join: connect the parts starting from the first part's sl st - 3 sc, turn the work to the right, crochet into the remaining 21 stitches of one part, then into 21 stitches of the second part (42);

Bring the yarn tail left from the MR on the wrong side to the place "along the back," two rounds above the join; with this tail, make the first chain,

11-13. 42 sc;

Using the yarn tails left at the level of round 6 from the MR, attach the beak with wattle, tie 2 knots on the wrong side; in the MR of the other part, use the left yarn tails to attach the tail, tie the tails on the wrong side with 2 knots;
