Amigurumi crochet Easter bunny

Free crochet tutorial for the Easter Bunny by Alla Mokan @craftallamocan.

With this pattern, you can crochet a bunny. For this amigurumi project, you will need wool yarn. The clothes are knitted with Gazzal Jeans and Drops Alpaca Mix. You can substitute similar yarns. The author also shares knitting instructions for the hat and sweater. You can sew the pants as you like.

The finished bunny toy is about 20 cm tall.

Fold the ear in half and crochet 6 or 7 sc through both layers. Fold the ear once more and crochet the remaining stitches for 3 rows. Sew the ears on where they look best.

From the beginning of the nose area, count 7 rounds and make eye indentations, with 3 sc between them.

Embroider the nose as you like.

Cast on 22 stitches + 2 edge stitches (24 sts total).

You can also leave the sleeve stitches unbound, place them on hold, and finish the sleeves to your desired length later. I knitted 7 or 8 more rows and then bound off.

After binding off the sleeve stitches, knit 10 more rows (bottom of the sweater) and bind off. Sew the sweater directly on the toy.

Hat Instructions

Cast on 40 stitches + 2 edge stitches and knit 2x2 ribbing for 24 rows. Then work 20 dec and pull the fabric closed. Sew the hat seam.
