Amigurumi Puppy Bruno crochet pattern

Free Puppy Bruno crochet tutorial by Tatyana Kostochenkova @tkostochenkova.

With this pattern, you can crochet Puppy Bruno. Any cotton blend yarn works for this amigurumi project: YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, or Gazzal Baby Cotton. You will also need brown felt for the spot and ears.

Finished toy size is about 25 cm.

Start with brown yarn:

Finish crocheting and cut the yarn. Stuff. Then go back to round 20 worked in BLO. Find the first stitch of the round and join blue yarn.

Finish crocheting and hide the yarn tail.

Go back to round 7 that was worked in BLO. Find the last stitch of the round, join brown yarn, and edge the sole with slip stitches (sl st), then hide the yarn tail. Embroider the shoelaces. Crochet the second leg the same way. When finishing the second leg, do not cut the yarn.

Body

On the second leg, chain 3 and join both legs together with sc. Place a marker at this point; this is the beginning of the round.

Collar

Crochet the collar. Go back to round 68 worked in BLO. Crochet around this round with sc, leaving 2 center stitches unworked. Hide the yarn tail.

Belt

Next, crochet the belt with brown yarn.

1: 55 ch, join into a ring with sl st
2: 1 tch, 55 sc, sl st

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and sew in place.

Buckle

Use gray yarn for the buckle.

1: 12 ch, join into a ring with sl st
2: 1 tch, (2 sc, 3 sc in 1) x 3, 2 sc, 2 sc in 1, sl st

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, and sew in place. To make the bow tie, take blue felt and cut an elongated oval. Tie it in the middle with blue yarn and sew it to the body. Decorate the body with buttons. Embroider pockets and a fly with brown sewing thread.
